Hi Rudy
Sounds strange the SC2 working on coins with no mods, I thought the only difference was the finish on the casing of the units , chrome ,copper, gold , & brown /black.

ScudieParticipantBonjour Gilles
Sorry but my French is not good enough to be able to read your question, so I copied it into an on line translator, unfortunately the translation does not make sense to me. Perhaps Klattu will understand better your problem and may be able to help.

ScudieParticipantScudieParticipantThe coin switches on the Sc1-4 will not work because there is no power to them (originally powered from the jukebox) if you have a set of the instructions for the I pod conversion kit there is a explanation about the coin switches & powering them through a wire wound resistor.
Have not had any issues with the valve amp part of the Hacker all the problems were related to the turntable , it would play a record if the turntable was spinning and the stylus was manually placed on a record.
The auto function was totally unresponsive, stripped it down found a couple of components seized & a lot of grease that had set a bit like toffee, after a good clean and some newly lubricated components I have the auto function working, my only problem now is the turntable seems to vary in speed a little maybe the rubber wheel that transfers drive from the motor to the turntable is slipping slightly ?

ScudieParticipantHi Randy
Yeh avoid powder coating, the best way I have found to refinish the case other than re chroming is to have the case stripped by an electro plating specialist, then primed and sprayed by an automotive body spray shop. Have done a couple this way.
What problem are you having with the SC1 ?
Have had my head in a Hacker Gp42 record player with a Garrard automatic turntable and Valve amplifier from the 1960’s for the last couple of weeks, I think I have just about got it sorted.
ScudieParticipantNice one Randy
I guess it might get added to the list now.
Looks like you have a bit of a Jukebox theme going on with the titles.
Are you still working on the SC1 ?

ScudieParticipantYou could run the external speaker from the mini audio jack, Bluetooth or hard wired If Bluetooth you may want to be able to isolate the built in speakers (by adding a separate switch or modifying the volume control resistor pack). as it can cause an echo effect because of a slight delay with Bluetooth.

when you click on the Forum it opens a list of 5 titles Wallbox2mp3 installations at the top & General Discussions at the bottom.
Tutorials is halfway down the list.

ScudieParticipantHi Oskar
If you have the credit unit the easiest way to achieve free play is to do as the post suggests in the tutorial section.
Free play will then be achieved until some one changes the modification.
You don’t require a jukebox if you are using a wallbox2mp3 unit.
Have you got a 25VAC transformer to power the SC 1 ?

ScudieParticipantThe two lamps that are in the top of the front cover of the sc1 are powered by the springy contact that is fixed to the chassis section just below the three lamps & they get there ground /earth through the metal cover touching the chassis.
Sorry but I Don’t know anything about editing PDF stuff.

ScudieParticipantHi Oskar
If the credit unit is present there is a description of how to achieve free play in the Tutorials section The post is called how to achieve freeplay on a SC1 and Rockola 507.

ScudieParticipantHi Oskar
What you have described in your post is if you wish to use the SC2 as a stand alone unit & want to use coins.
Is the credit unit fitted inside your consolette?
It should be situated adjacent to the right hand speaker and has a 12 pin plug connector that pushes into a 12 pin socket.
If the credit unit is missing, as you look at the socket front if the top left is #1 & bottom right is #12 , bridge terminal 1 on the socket(top left) to terminal 7 , 3rd row down, left & that will give you freeplay.

ScudieParticipantHi Randy
Guessing your doing a Seeburg SC now then?
What sound track is this going to feature?
Did you get your Wurlitzer 5220 working correctly and hanging on a.wall yet?
I was really glad that you offered help regarding the incorrect tracks being played with the Packard wallbox, as I have had no experience with them.
I am not entirely surprised that you have had no response to your suggestions /questions, although some do respond quickly, others wil ask a question then don’t check the forum for a week or two, presumably they think there question won’t be responded to so promptly.
Hopefully they will be able to work out what the problem is and take the time to post a reply.

ScudieParticipantRockola 1544/1546.
ScudieParticipantHi M_Shrenk
Sorry for the late response have only just noticed I had not answered your question.
I used a product called Supa fix when I purchased it several years ago there was a bottle of Super glue type adhesive plus the two containers of powder, the original bottle of glue dried up so now I buy a card of cheap superglue tubes from a £ shop when I see it.
Bassically you apply the glue to where you want to build onto, then sprinkle the powder onto the wet glue, then more glue & then more powder and so on untill you have a built up lump that is sufficiently large enough to be able to then be shaped as required.
It worked extremely well on the title page gears so thought it worth a bash on the credit unit teeth.

ScudieParticipantHi Folks
I spent a couple of hours last night studying this problem.
I figured that the because the SD card is configured for a Rockola 1555 (the only 120 selection Rockola listed in the software) That the V1.4 was not receiving a pattern of pulse signals that it recognised for the first 20 selections, I assume that this is due to the design characteristics of this model of Rockola 1544 – !546 wallbox not being compatible with the way the SD card is configured .
So after making a small adaption to the wallbox I now have a song played for each of the first 20 selections and for all the other 21-120 selections.

ScudieParticipantHi Klaatu
Thanks for the suggestion, I had already considered doing as you suggested.
I had assumed that they were busy as I am awaiting a response from them on a completely different matter, so I was trying to find an answer to the problem without bothering them.

ScudieParticipantGood morning Klaatu
I configured an SD for a 1555 and it behaves in the same way as the micro SD that had been in it when he bought it, ie there is nothing played for the selections 1-20.
When the first page is turned and it is showing selections 21-30 on the left if the top left button (21) is pressed it plays selection one.
I re numbered all the MP3 files starting at 021 through to 140 and re wrote the SD this made no difference. I also tried adding a M20.sel file to see if this had any effect but again this achieved nothing.
As there are two AMI 120 selection wallbox’s listed in the software I configured SD cards for these also but this also proved to have no effect.

ScudieParticipantGood Morning Pinbill
From what I have read on your posts I would tend to agree with you about your V1.5 being at fault. I think you would be better off sending the team an Email rather than waiting for one of them to visit the forum and read these posts.
I think in previous instances where a unit appeared to be at fault, a replacement unit was sent out fairly promptly.
