This is the kit, there is two strips of led’s and two outputs from the small box I remove one of the output cables, fit the box where the credit unit used to be & fix the remote sensor to the r/h speaker if situated correctly the sensor picks up the signal from the remote. One strip is plenty for an SC the strip is self adhesive and can be fitted in the cream coloured plastic plastic lid , you do have to cut a small slot in the plastic, I remove the old bulb holders and associated wiring & give the plastic a good clean . Bought them off a well known auction website think the kits were about £8

ScudieParticipantMorning
The one that has just been stripped will be sixth Seeburg Consolette that I have done, three original chrome, one powder coated and two sprayed red. The coloured lights I have done two ways, a strip of coloured led that are controled by a small unit inside & has a remote to operate them. The cable is a bit of a pain when it comes to removing the front cover ( has a four pin connector in it )
Also done a led strip that depending on how you connect the wires can be either red blue green or white, powered these through the original cover contact, replacing the original live for a 5v dc source.

ScudieParticipantHi folks thanks for the help, have just managed to get a picture sorted, looks like there’s a couple of posts for Klaatu to moderate.

ScudieParticipantOk so had a few hours yesterday so swapped the wb2mp3 card out of my garage box, this had no effect A1 did not select correctly, so it had to be down to the wallbox.
I had already removed and cleaned the letter& number selection switches, the protective plate that covers the set of contacts that are behind the r/h speaker had been missing and the contacts bent, these I had straightened out while it was stripped but I adjusted the gaps (has any one noticed that some machines have 4 & not 5 contacts as shown in the manual?)
found that I had no continuity from Selection R contact on the disc, on removing the disc I found that the blue wire had broken off its connection on the back of R contact.
Repaired & reassembled selections are now as they should be.

ScudieParticipantHello Sooner
V1 plays correctly!strangely enough. Put the SD in the box I have in the garage & the few selections I tried played as they should A1 B1 & C1, so it would appear that it’s either the wb2mp3 card or the wallbox itself. I will swap a few bits, over the weekend to see if I can get to the bottom of it.

ScudieParticipantJust had a bash at pairing up tracks to create A+B sides as suggested by Sooner.
Organised all the tracks in the folder, then imported them into the wb2mp3 software, A1 & B1 were correct but it went badly wrong after that so had another look at how I had organised / paired the tracks all looked to be good, So took another look at Sooners post & noticed that his position numbers all have three figures to there content, ie selection one is 001 and ten is 010 and so on twenty one 021 through to ninety nine 099.
Once I had renamed the files like this I was able to re introduce them into the software without it jumbling them all up, I did miss a capital t in one of the artist names so it duplicated the name of the artist on the centre of the title strip.
Built the SD card and saved the PDF of the title strips, strangely the machine I have just built & converted seems to be 20 selections out of sync, when A1 is selected B1 is played when B1 is selected C1 is played. Will try the SD in another machine tomorrow evening.

ScudieParticipantThe list of manuals has certainly grown. I think you would be fairly unlucky now to have a wallbox & not be able to find a manual for it.
Thanks for the Rockola stuff Klaatu.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantGlad to hear that so far it seems that you might have sorted the problem.
It will be interesting to see if buy reintroducing the random selection has any negative effects. Maybe worth formatting the first SD card and putting the non random selection on that to see how that behaves.

ScudieParticipantHi everyone just a bit of an update on one my earlier posts.
If you have read the posts about the first Seeburg SC1 project you will know that I had it powder coated, Big mistake I then went on to say if you are thinking of having the cover sprayed that the best way to remove the chrome is to have it polished off by a metal polishing service, well I was wrong because the metal polisher sends the stuff away to have old chrome removed I think using a reverse of the chroming process.
Yesterday I received a case back that has been stripped of its chrome so it can now go to the spray shop to be primed and painted. A friend had seen my red one & after considering various colours has decided that she would like one of her own & would like it sprayed red.
As you can see in the photo all of the chrome is gone.

ScudieParticipantI have only sent one as I was unsure of how to send multiple attachments on one email. If you receive it & can open it I will send the others.
Andrew asked me again today if I had received (from Fabien) any information regarding circuit diagram for the WB2mp3 ! I told him not as yet .
Regards Scudie
ScudieParticipantGood evening Gaëlle
yes I can send them to you , should I send the email to contact@wallbox2mp3.com ?thanks for your work stopping the spam, it is now much better.
Also it is appreciated that you are taking the time to look at the forum.and for getting in touch, it’s good to se the forum being used.
I look forward to the time when Fabien has time to answer some questions
Regards Scudie
ScudieParticipantOk I think I’ve got it, I will certainly give it a bash next time I am doing a play list.
What size SD card are you using id how many GB ?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi Sooner
so if I understand this correctly you organise all of the tracks into the desired order before you transfer the folder into the software ?
slightly confused about the albums where you say you have 10. Five at the front, is that 10 sides giving A1- K1 thus 10 selections?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantI’m inpressed how did you achieve this ?
I once sat for hours moving tracks In the list using the arrows up & down arrows in the software, l found it way to tedious and gave up!
Is there an easier way?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantI think if it were me I would be tempted to do another Sd Card with the same selections but without any random choice stuff, and try that, for what it takes.
If the problem is still evident you can rule out your first sd card.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi
That’s not something I have had, so I do not have an easy answer,
When the music stops is there any background noise? Any error codes flashing on the board?
Is there any pattern to it cutting out like when certain tracks are played but not others?
When the music goes off what happens if anything if you press the reject button? Assuming multiple tracks were selected.
Have you tried ejecting and reinserting the sd while its power is off?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi Steve
Glad to hear that you found the problem & got it sorted, that’s an interesting idea by disconnecting the resistors thereby switching audio off with no buttons pressed, nice one.
Do you still have the humming from the left speaker?
Chears Paul
ScudieParticipantNot sure if I have mentioned it previously but you can download a copy of the Seeburg SC1 manual from here on the website I think it’s under the Support section.👍
ScudieParticipantHello
I have found various diagrams , one shows a modified version of volume controls switch, this is a section of the Seeburg SC1 wiring diagram. If compared to the original you will see the difference.
The other diagrams show the various circuit paths of the audio through the switches & there relevant resistors. It’s a while since I looked at these & rememberit taking me a while to get my head around how it worked! Sorry the first one is sideways , Hope they help.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantMorning Steve
Fairly sure that I have a diagram of switch I will try to find it later and post it on here.
I do not work for Fabien or wb2mp3 and my involvement with the forum is purely voluntary just trying to help if I can.👍
