Hi Guillaume
Welcome to the forum,
what is the problem that you have?
what exactly are you trying to achieve ?
have you looked at the manual for the 5220?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantInterested to see what speakers you buy and how you are going to house / use them.
What model wall box are you using ? Any photos ?
Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi All
I have had an email from Fabien regarding the choice of speakers.
He says that either can be used with the V1.5 amp but that 4ohm would be better.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi
I am unsure about the answer to your question, I have previously used both 4ohm & 8ohm speakers with previous versions of the emulator both worked well.
I believe that the V1.5 has a different amp to the older units.
Perhaps Fabien can answer this question.

ScudieParticipantHi Folks
I Have finally managed to find a front cover for the SC1, there’s no glass in it but that’s not a problem.
For some reason some one has removed the coin reject button, if anyone has a spare let me know !
If I can’t find one I will blank the hole off with a piece of polished stainless steel and mount a remote cancell switch to it.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantGood to hear that you found the problem & managed to find a relay to replace it.
Where did you get the replacement relay from ?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantI have in the past on Seeburg SC models disconnected the power from the audio relay, Then simply closed the contacts of the relay to complete the cicuit to the speakers and held them closed with a small cable tie.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi Gaëlle
I think the relay in question is the audio control relay ?
I have not had a 507 myself, a pal of mine did, but he sent his away for repair, there is a manual for it on here.
Sorry but a bit too modern ( electronic) for me.
Scudie
ScudieParticipantNice one glad to here that you got sorted, very peculiar as it had obviously worked befor.
Things seem to disappear on my phone!
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantI also use Windows 10 with no problems, did a new SD for one of my box’s this week.
All worked fine for me, are you sure you have all the tracks in the folder?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi Ron
I have had a look & unfortunately so far I have not been able to locate any further photos, I sold the WRA shortly after finishing it, to a very good friend, if it’s really nesseccary I could pop round and take as many photos as I want.
The small original transformer is for interior lighting of the unit, I think it drops the voltage to 6 or 7 volts. It powers the lamps in the instruction window adjacent to the coin entry & also the four lamps in the top of the front cover that iluminate the title strips.
Do you have a manual for the WRA ?
If not you will find one in the support section on here.
Your wallbox 2 MP3 emulator should have come with a 5vdc power supply?
Check that it is as it should be (5V DC )
Other than that the wb2mp3 requires a 25VAC supply and also a Signal wire ( which is a series of ground pulses) sent by the WRA.
The speaker connections are straight forward as there are two positive & two negative connections on (I think) the lower row of the terminal strips in the WRA
If you have read this from the beginning you will be aware that I removed the credit & the slug rejector units to gain space for the wb2mp3 and the 25v AC transformer, are you intending to do the same?
Cheers Paul
ScudieParticipantHi Wolfie
The addition of a on board Bluetooth device / system is something that has been suggested by several people here on the forum.
I also suggested the possibility of transmitting the audio via wifi, as I believe several of the home audio systems such as Sonos do.
As I have not tried fitting an ad on Bluetooth transmitter to the inside of a wallbox, I am unable to make judgement on its potential effectiveness when concealed in a metal box. It may have a detrimental affect?
When I have used a Bluetooth transmitter I have connected an earphone extension cable to the ear phone jack, this just protrudes through to the outside of the case, then connected the transmitter to the extension as and when it was required.
This way charging of the Bluetooth device is not a problem, although I would prefer it aesthetically if it were not visible.

ScudieParticipantHi I have just checked the voltage out of a transformer which is of the same make and model as the one fitted to the WRA,
The one I tested is connected to a Seeburg SC1, that has three LED’s fitted instead of the #19 lamps, with the wallbox in credit position, My Voltmeter shows a fluctuating reading varying from 27.9V to 28V.
When a selection was made the voltage dropped to 25.5V while the motor was operational returning to the previous reading once the motor stopped.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi Ron
In answer to your question yes once I had sorted the broken wire the WRA worked fine with the terroidal transformer that I fitted & is still working well.
I am not 100 % sure about this, & I will have to check, but I have a feeling that although the transformers are rated as 25VAC when the voltage is measured with my old digital voltmeter I believe they were slightly higher possibly 26 or 27 volts.
Do you have one that you are working on/ converting to MP3?
Any photos?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantMachined the grills on a milling machine.
Will try polishing the new grills not sure if they clean up the same as it was aluminium plate not cast. StI’ll got to find something to go on top of the post to house a Bluetooth receiver/ amp. Looking for a round dome lamp with a chrome / stainless steel base.

ScudieParticipantWell under the black paint finish they are aluminium, I am guessing they were cast & as they were deigned to have a painted finish it hadn’t mattered that the aluminium was quite rough, so getting any kind of shine on them involved quite a bit of polishing.
Any way one is nearly there now just the awkward parts around the screw holes to have another go at.
Do the the repacement grills go? Any suggestions?
Cheers
ScudieParticipantHi Fabien
When I start to read your last post part of your answer is obscured by a a picture of a a wallbox2mp3 & logo.!
Have you physically connected the new V1.5 to a Wallbox for testing purposes ? if so which make and models have been used for this purpose?
When tested with an SD card configured for random selections did the V1.5 play the songs that had been selected without any conflict of random unselected songs?

ScudieParticipantI like the feature of the trip on the unit, that should save the transformer in the event of a dead short.
Had a look at there website myself, unfortunately either they don’t do a transformer for 240v or I couldn’t find it , which is a shame as I fancied the idea of connecting a few wallbox’s together with the one power source.
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantFairly sure a few have mentioned about Bluetooth transmission, that it could be something that could/ should have been worth considering, while the unit was in development.
Lets hope that the problems that the earlier unit suffered with have been eradicated in testing before it is released for sale.
Have to ask though what happened to the pretty cover?
Cheers Scudie
ScudieParticipantHi Guys like the Rockola’s they do look the part, and the Dinosaur fuel pump,
hope you have a copy of Alley Oop on it?
Whats a Police / Font?
