Hi Christophe
If you are contemplating connecting a Rowe Ami WRD 200 to a wallbox2mp3 adapter it may be an idea to email Fabien or Gaëlle for advice on the compatibility of a Rowe Ami WRD 200 with a wallbox2mp3 unit, as far as I can see the WRD is not currently on the list of compatible wallbox’s although there is a photo of one adjacent to the list which is a little confusing.
There is a manual for the WRA WRB & WRC in the Support section, I think the WRD was there first wallbox that was solid state so the manual for the others may be of no use to you with the WRD.
Sorry I can’t be of any further help with the manual.

Hello Scudie
thanks for these informations, The WRD is an solid state. I will ask Gaelle to know for interfacing with Wallbox2MP3.
For know , I just need some schematic to understand how I can connect the power supply, to put power ON first.
I was looking on internet , and I don’t find any manual to buy on WRD 200
Regards
Christophe.

Hi Christophe
Perhaps if you could post a photo of the inside of the WRD showing the connector strip someone may be able to identify them?

There is a WRD manual on the US Ebay site. But like Scudie I don’t think there is a currently available adapter. The CDadapter folks have an emulator for the E &F models but the solid state boxes can be expensive to emulate. Powering it up should not be a problem though show us the pictures.

Also, I have a solid state ROWE – the CD WB. Perhaps the connector strip in that is similar to yours. The top terminal is labeled AC Power and the second terminal is AC Common. It is a 24v transformer.

OK so yours is basically the same with power and ground/common on the top two terminals. On your strip common is the top terminal and power is the second. I bought a Ring Doorbell transformer from Amazon to power mine, I think the French Amazon site has them as well. Really any 24v AC transformer will work.

Good Aternoon Guys
From Memory that connector strip looks to be different to the WRA that I converted & have the manual for. Glad that Randy was able to help although the label should be fairly self explanatory.
On the subject of transformers I use a 25Vac terroidal tranformer from RS electronics, they do appear to have a French website.
The part number is 671-8956
I Don’t know how they compare in price to stuff for sale on Ebay might be worth taking a look.

OK Randy, thanks, I connected an 24 AC power as your mentionned and the wallbox is running.
Now I just have to analyse the signal on Data line and clock line to see when I do a disk selection , if it is compatible with wallbox2MP3, I will ask Gaelle.

Good looking wallbox, I hope you get it working. It does not appear to be much different than the Seeburg DEC, maybe Fabien can adapt that emulator for this box.
