I have a wallboxtomp3 unit from 2017 that works great when using a powered speaker through the built in jack. But I’ve recently come across restored drive in movie style speakers and would like to use those instead. I’ve searched the manual but I can’t find anything on the max output wattage of the built in amp. I am unsure of the version of my unit but it is the general one for most wallboxes (mine is the Seeburg 3W1) and it is all blue (I see they added imagery to the V1.4 so i must have an earlier model).

      Thanks

i believe the built in amp is 3 watts max, depending on the input voltage. There’s a spec sheet posted somewhere with a power output diagram.

Hmm alright. I think the speakers are 8W. If I hooked them up would they just be underpowered and everything is ok or will it damage the wallbox to mp3?
